Missing value [shipping weight]
Your shipping settings calculate rates by weight, but the feed does not tell Google how much these products weigh.
What this error means
Your Merchant Center shipping service calculates costs from product weight, either through carrier-calculated rates or a weight-based rate table. For that to work, every product needs a shipping_weight value, and these products do not have one, so Google cannot compute a shipping cost and disapproves them.
Why it happens
The error only appears when your shipping setup depends on weight. Flat-rate and free-shipping setups never trigger it. With weight-based rates active, the usual causes are products that have no weight entered in the store, a weight field that is not mapped to shipping_weight in the feed, or a weight submitted without its unit, since Google expects a number plus a unit such as 1.2 kg or 8 oz.
How to fix it
- Check which shipping service in Merchant Center uses carrier-calculated or weight-based rates. That service is what makes the attribute required.
- Enter the shipping weight for the affected products in your store, including packaging weight if your carrier bills that way.
- Map the store's weight field to
shipping_weightin the feed and include the unit. - If weight-based shipping is more precision than your store needs, switching that shipping service to flat rates removes the requirement entirely.
- Resubmit the feed.
Fixing it in your store
Make weight a required field in your product creation flow so new products cannot enter the feed without one. Most platforms have a weight field on every product for their own shipping calculators, and the fix is usually mapping that existing field rather than collecting new data. Watch the unit setting in the feed tool: a store that stores grams while the feed declares kilograms produces shipping costs that are a thousand times off.
How long until it clears
Expect 1 to 3 days after the corrected feed reaches Google.

You target the United States and Google has no tax information for these products, from either your account tax settings or the feed's tax attribute.
