Automatic item updates: availability
Google found a different stock status on your product page than in your feed and corrected it automatically, which usually means your feed lags behind your real inventory.
What this error means
Google read the structured data on your product page, saw a different stock status than your feed reports, and corrected the feed value automatically. Most often the feed says in_stock while the page says sold out, and Google flips the product to out of stock so shoppers do not click through to a product they cannot buy. The product is not disapproved, but the warning tells you your feed and your inventory have drifted apart.
Why it happens
Inventory changes faster than most feeds refresh. A product that sells out an hour after the feed upload stays in_stock in the feed until the next upload, and Google's crawler catches the difference in between. Other causes are a feed tool that always exports in_stock regardless of real inventory, and structured data on the page that reports the wrong status, which makes Google "correct" the feed in the wrong direction.
How to fix it
- Compare the affected products' feed availability with the live page. Whichever side is wrong is the side to fix.
- Refresh the feed more often, or move to a platform sync that pushes inventory changes to Merchant Center as they happen.
- Make sure the feed reads real inventory instead of a hardcoded
in_stockvalue. - Check the availability in your product page schema markup, since that is the source Google trusts for the correction.
- Keep automatic item updates enabled. Without it, the same drift becomes a mismatched availability disapproval, which takes days to recover from instead of correcting itself.
Fixing it in your store
Fast sellers and one-off items are where this bites. If your store regularly sells out of products between feed uploads, shorten the feed interval or use your platform's native Merchant Center sync so availability updates flow in near real time. Confirm the schema markup on the product page tracks true stock status, including for variants, because a page that says in stock while the size is sold out feeds Google the wrong signal.
How long until it clears
Nothing is blocked, so there is nothing to wait for. The warnings stop once Google's crawls find the same availability in the feed and on the page.

Mismatched value (page crawl): availability
The availability in your feed does not match the availability Google found on your product page, so the product is disapproved.
Missing value [availability]
The availability attribute is missing, so Google does not know whether the product can be bought and disapproves it.
Automatic item updates: price
Google found a different price on your product page than in your feed and corrected the feed price automatically, which keeps the product live but signals your feed is stale.
