Incorrect product page URL
The URL in your link attribute is malformed or points at the wrong domain, so Google disapproves the product.
What this error means
The link attribute holds the URL of your product page. When that URL is badly formed, or points to a domain other than your verified website, the product is disapproved. This is specifically about the link value, your verified domains, and redirects, not about whether Google can crawl an otherwise valid page.
Why it happens
Common causes are a URL that does not start with http:// or https://, backslashes instead of forward slashes, invalid characters, or a link whose domain does not match the website verified in your Merchant Center account. Redirects that change the domain also trigger it, since the final page no longer matches your verified site.
How to fix it
- Make sure every
linkURL starts withhttp://orhttps://and uses forward slashes only. - Confirm the domain in the link matches the website verified and claimed in Merchant Center.
- Remove invalid characters and tracking fragments that break the URL.
- If the link redirects, make sure it stays on your verified domain.
- Update the feed and wait for re-crawl.
Fixing it in your store
This error usually comes from how the feed builds product URLs. Check that your feed tool outputs the full canonical product URL on your verified domain, without backslashes or malformed parameters. If you recently changed domain or moved to HTTPS, update the verified website in Merchant Center and regenerate the feed so the links match.
How long until it clears
Once the URLs are valid and on the verified domain and re-crawled, expect the product to qualify within 1 to 3 days.
