Mismatched value (page crawl): price
The price in your feed does not match the price Google finds on your product page.
What this error means
Google crawled your product page, compared the price it found there with the price in your feed, and the two do not match. Until they do, the product stays disapproved.
Why it happens
Google checks that a shopper who clicks your ad sees exactly the price that was advertised. Any difference triggers this error. The common causes are a sale that ended on the site but not in the feed, VAT included in one place and excluded in the other, a currency difference, or a cached page showing an old price. Wrong or outdated structured data on the product page is another frequent cause, because Google reads the price field in your schema markup first.
How to fix it
- Make the feed price and the visible page price identical, including VAT.
- Check that the structured data on the product page (the
pricein your schema markup) matches the visible price. Google reads the markup first, so a stale schema price fails the check even when the visible price is right. - If you run promotions, send the discounted price in the
sale_priceattribute alongside the regularprice, so the feed tells the same story as the page for the whole duration of the sale. - Refresh the feed after every price change, not on a slower schedule than your price updates.
- Check the page the way Google sees it: logged out, in the currency of the target country, with any welcome discounts or geo pricing rules accounted for.
- Request a re-crawl in Merchant Center once feed and page agree.
Fixing it in your store
Match your feed update frequency to how often prices change in the store. If you run sales, confirm your feed tool sends the sale price in the right attribute and that it reverts when the sale ends. Most feed tools can schedule refreshes; set that interval no wider than your typical price cadence.
How long until it clears
Usually within 1 day after Google re-crawls the page and sees matching prices.
