Missing value [price]
The price attribute in your feed is missing or empty for this product.
What this error means
The price attribute for this product is empty or absent from your feed. Without a price, Google cannot show the product anywhere.
Why it happens
Price is a required attribute for every product. The empty value usually traces back to one of three things: a variable product where only the variants carry a price and the parent does not, a product sold as "price on request" with no numeric price in the store, or a feed column that is unmapped or empty for part of the catalog.
The variable-product case is the most common. Many store platforms leave the parent product without its own price because the variants each have one. If the feed then exports the parent row, that row goes out priced at nothing. Products genuinely sold on quotation cannot be advertised through Shopping at all: Google requires a real price a shopper can buy at.
How to fix it
- Fill the
priceattribute with a valid price above 0.00 in the currency of the country you are targeting. - For variable products, send the price of the default variant, or list the variants individually so each row has its own price.
- Refresh the feed and confirm the price column is populated for every row.
- Use the product list in Merchant Center to see exactly which items are affected, fix those rows first, and confirm the count drops after the next feed processing.
Fixing it in your store
Check that variable products have a base price set and that your feed tool picks the correct variant price rather than an empty parent value. Verify the price field mapping and run a feed preview to confirm no rows go out with an empty price.
How long until it clears
Typically within 1 day after the corrected feed is processed.
