Editorial issue: excessive capitalization in title
The product title contains too many capital letters, usually whole words in caps, which Google treats as shouting and disapproves.
What this error means
Google flagged the title attribute because too much of it is written in capital letters. Whole words in caps read as shouting and as an attempt to stand out unfairly against other listings, so the product is disapproved until the title uses normal capitalization.
Why it happens
Gratuitous capitals usually come from the store side: product names written as "SUMMER SALE HOODIE" for attention on the site, a supplier feed that delivers every product name in uppercase, or a data import that uppercased entire columns. Legitimate capitals exist, and Google knows it. Brand names like ASICS, abbreviations like USB or XL, and model codes are fine. The flag comes when ordinary words are capitalized for emphasis.
How to fix it
- Rewrite the flagged titles in normal sentence or title case: capitalize the first letter of words, not entire words.
- Keep capitals only where they are real: brand names, abbreviations, sizes, and model numbers.
- While you are in there, structure the title as Brand + Product type + Key attributes, which fixes the capitalization and improves the title in one pass.
- Check for promotional wording at the same time, because all-caps titles and words like "SALE" or "FREE" usually travel together and trigger a separate editorial disapproval.

Fixing it in your store
You do not need to rename products in your store. Most feed tools can apply a capitalization rule to the title field, converting uppercase words to title case while a list of exceptions protects brand names and abbreviations. If the caps come from a supplier feed, apply the rule at import or in the feed tool so it covers every future product automatically.
How long until it clears
Expect 1 to 2 days after the corrected titles reach Google.
